New Panda update on Google and its impact!!

If you are focusing and highly dependent on SEO to generate business leads then here is news for you. With the new Panda update on Google coming into the picture the odds are stacked higher. The impact is clear! Considerable change has been made in the underlying algorithm that leading search engines like Google run on in order to rank websites.

Sometime in 2011, Google had introduced the Google Panda concept with one prime motive in mind and that was to enhance and improve search quality. As a consequence, we started to see many websites that had a considerable number of ads and were weak in quality and unique content starting to lose their visibility and ranking. These sites were then replaced with content driven websites and other social media sites that had unique and quality content. This way Google had made it clear that the old traditional way of content development with a lot of stuffing of keywords would just not work. If you are really interested in achieving high rankings on search engines then you would need to create meaningful SEO articles with rich content that would surely interest visitors and compel to come to your website.

So, what is it that needs to be done to create effective content articles that would really get you the kind of visibility you require on search engines?

Group of targeted keywords in your content

First and foremost, try not to focus on just one single keyword when it comes to writing content. Mix it up a little bit and try to remain focused on a variety of related keywords and phrases. Since targeting one specific keyword does not make sense so you need to start working on synonyms and other keywords that would go to the essence of the content.

Develop content keeping the reader's interest in mind

Start developing content that is more natural and impactful rather than just writing content keeping in mind search engines. The new Panda update on Google does look into this aspect so keep the keywords in a flow so the content makes sense and interest readers. With impactful content, you are bound to interest viewers and get some reaction. This in turn would enhance your site’s visibility.

Limit the use of links

Another aspect that the new Panda update on Google monitors is excessive use of links on a page of content. It is a good practice to link a certain article to a corresponding page on your website but too much of it can prove fatal. So, try to avoid any excessive linking if you are looking to drive potential traffic towards your website.

Conserve the number of words in your content to a meaningful limit

Multiple short pages of content will no longer work. So, instead of just targeting 150-300 words it is better to create and submit lengthy pages of content with at least 400 to 500 words. Google has now started to give credit for such content as these pages are seen to have more credibility and can keep readers engaged.
